AlgaEnergy receives the "Award for Sustainability and Organic Production" at Infoagro Exhibition 2017

AlgaEnergy has been recognized with the "Award for Sustainability and Organic Production" granted by the organization of the event InfoAgro Exhibition, a biennial Trade Fair held in Almeria that brings together Spain’s main actors in the agricultural sector. It 
is the most important professional agricultural fair in the South of Spain.
"It is an honor for us to receive such an important distinction to our work in an industry we have bet on, and in which we are steadily introducing our high quality products", says Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, CEO of AlgaEnergy. "We have received several Awards of great importance at national and international level, mainly distinguishing our innovative company and our advanced technology. In fact, AlgaEnergy has been recognized as one of the SMEs with the greatestgrowth potential in the continent by the European Commission. However, this is the first sectorial award having one of our products as main protagonist, in this case, our disruptive range of high quality agricultural biostimulants AgriAlgae®".
AgriAlgae® is a 100% natural biostimulant, obtained from a set of microalgae carefully selected and cultivated by AlgaEnergy through optimized and fully controlled conditions and culture parameters. Applied in small doses, AgriAlgae® is providing outstanding proven results, improving the performance and quality in all types of cultures. To these benefits –certified by independent studies-, we must add the fact that, for each 5 liters of AgriAlgae® product used, the farmer will have contributed to the removal of 2 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere, since this gas is a key element in the process of microalgae cultivation, as the main nutrient of microalgae grown by AlgaEnergy.

The Award Ceremony, in which AlgaEnergy will receive the Prize for “Sustainability and Organic Production" will take place during the celebration of INFOAGRO EXHIBITION 2017, on Friday, May 12.
